I’m Sierra, a first-generation San Diego, California scholar passionate about the macabre, horror, and true crime narratives. My journey in archival studies began with a transformative internship at SDSU's Special Collections, igniting my commitment to preserving cultural heritage. With a Master's in Library and Information Science from San Jose State University and experience at the American Film Institute, Timken Museum of Art, and SDSU Library, I bring expertise in managing and digitizing cultural records. Beyond academics, I find solace in nature, hold a green belt in Judo, and am accompanied by my Medical Response Dog, Sophie. As a volunteer, I mentor at Unidos Judo Club and assist with Golden State Service Dogs, reflecting my dedication to community engagement.
